We'll paint the exterior a full white color with some black screens on the windows. The interior is going to be a mixture of shades of violet & blue (the living room and dinning room), yellow(in the kitchen) and green (the sun room). All a lot of planning by the ladies and all very well done. It looks a lot like Sherwin Williams show room in the front bed room. You'll also notice the new subfloor decking, getting ready to lay the laminate flooring.
You can also tell the location of the refrigerator (kinda) in the next picture. The entire north wall of the kitchen will be where the sink and counter top area will be. We're thinking about making the "mud room" {just thru the door in the picture to the right of the frig.} a part of the kitchen/eating area but lots of other work to be done first.
You can't believe how much cleaning Jane (and me when I have to) has done. This old house has held up great over many many years. It was totally vacant for a couple of years and it remained solid and strong without any up keep.
We have completed most of the hard things and time consuming efforts. Now we can begin to work on the "pretty" things that will help give the house the appearance Donald and Kay are looking for.
By the way did we say WE'RE ENJOYING EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!!
